tennis shoes were first released in one color way in the beginning.

The "Retro" Frankenstein shoe as
it is fondly called is a coming together of pieces from other existing
Jordan footwear. The wings, which are located to the sides of the shoe,
are originally taken from the Jordan 4. These wings function is to hold
lace loops specifically. The already sought after shoe has everything
you would want in a shoe and more with its elephant print, perforated

tongue of the shoe and the lace locks come directly from the Air Jordan
6. The back tab to the shoe comes from the Air Jordan 9 and the sock
liner that has the layered graphics comes from the Jordan 20. The two
remaining other parts are the sole, midsole, and elephant print that has
"Spike" comes from Air Jordan 3. The netting and the central silhouette
was adapted solely from the Air Jordan 5.
The first color way for the Air Jordan Spizike was white, red and green.
This pair was limited and there were only 4.032 pairs that were
released for sale. However, rumor has it that there were several pairs,
which went unnumbered. The second color way used was black, red and green.
They were a Life Style release in their own right. Some of the other
color ways have included True Blue, Fire Red, and white, red and Argon
blue.
